I went offroading on Sunday with a bunch of n00bs like me and did a few video's.
Not as good as this one though :)

Didn't get this watched this weekend like I wanted to - hopefully tonight. Thanks for putting the time into documenting your trip and sharing it.

I do it for me mostly, cause my memory aint what it used to be and even then it wasn't either. I hope you like it though, I put a little more work into this than most of my videos.

Same reason I take hundreds of photos anytime I take a trip I want to remember...
Good thing hard drives are cheap.

I was, however, conscious on this trip of a new theory that is emerging that links taking lots of pictures with reduced memories of the event so a lot of it is gopro and running cameras. I tried to be in the moment as much as possible while satiating my video producers need to document everything.

Yes. Being in the moment is good. I don't capture much video (other than snippets of the kids), but I love taking photos. Honestly, having a camera in my hand often makes me look closer and deeper into my environment than I would otherwise, but if you let it, the pursuit of a great photo can take away from the experience you're trying to have and share with the people you're there with. There is a happy middle, I'm sure.

Took the time to watch it tonight. Great video - can't wait to get out there some day. Two of my brothers and our sons took an epic road trip to Montana two years ago; this really makes me look forward to the next time.
